		June 13 2007 Star Ship OK, it’s not a star ship as in space ship, yet a colossal sized roving robot that take the form of a starfish. This is where LOR lives and does his creating. Much of the story will take place here. So far there are 350 individual leg systems. I’m still working out how I will create the motion for this beast. Obviously a scripted method will be used. I only have plans for one shot of the model moving across the landscape, so I will try and make the process as simple as possible. should look really cool when it moves. This render took 14minutes, most of that was from the area shadows, without area shadows it’s about four minutes; 1.5 million faces. The insides I have here are just a temp stand in. I’m not sure what will take shape on the inside.
